Pug deliveries.

Open up your heart

I am so impressed that my canvas arrived less than 24 hours after I had ordered it. Sometimes I believe I am on the corner of the earth in absolute solitude so far away from everything and everyone and then I get a little surprise like this. My work in progress piece from yesterday was on the oval shaped canvas measuring 20″ x 16″ … I’m not sure what that is in centimetres and as you can tell I haven’t really bothered to look it up.

Anyway I did a little more work on it today, and I think it is finished,

Purity, acrylic on canvas, 20"x16"

I wanted to focus on the white feathers of the swan and the essence of purity, without withholding too much attention to detail. I want you to feel the feathers, not see them. I am happy with this as a finished piece and a first outcome in my new venture, but I am still going to push this, as well as try something a bit different.

I used to have a editor that allowed me to crop out a circle/oval shape, I don’t have that anymore but this is an idea of the painting sitting by itself on a white wall…

A little slender purity

This is something I have been working on today. I’m not 100% sure what I’m doing yet so I’ll give you more information on the piece as and when I know. I am just trying to sit back and have a bit of patience with these, let them talk to me.

Work in progress, acrylic on canvas, 60cm diameter
